A chemical engineer who graduated from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Strasbourg (ENSCS)

Francis AHNER is an expert with a worldwide reputation in chemistry, pharmacy and cosmetology and acts both for French and foreign public research organizations and for international pharmaceutical firms.

As a European Patent Attorney before the European Patent Office (EPO) he undertakes opposition and appeal proceedings for private companies and public organizations in France, USA and Japan.

He is also in charge of litigations (oppositions, infringement proceedings) brought before French and foreign Courts.

He is Honorary President of FICPI (Fédération Internationale des Conseils en Propriété Industrielle) the worldwide representative organization of the profession.

He is a professor at CEIPI (Centre d’Etudes Internationales de la Propriété Industrielle), President of CEIPI's Teaching Committee and has been a member of its Board for many years.

He regularly teaches “Industrial Property” modules in Grandes Ecoles, Universities and postgraduate courses.
